Noam Chomsky: The greatest man alive.

I got This at
Adopt Something

Hi, so I guess this is where I tell you about myself, right?? My name is Brian Disagree, and I'm 22 years old, turned it in the fall, I'm a Scorpio. Hmm, this is going to be tougher then I thought. I guess, I'll start off by telling you how long I've been into punk music, it all started in '92, over 6 short years ago. It took me a couple years however to get fully into the music through 'zines like MaximumRockNRoll, Punk Planet and Rational Inquirer, and local 'zines Starbelly, B.U.H., Jerk and SCHtufff because I didn't know anyone into the scene and still really don't. I do have a few aquaintances however.

Before, I go on I must say, I really do miss 'zines like Starbelly, B.U.H. and Jerk which were around in '94, they were great local 'zines, the best in the area. At that time, in '94, I did a 'zine called Psychotic Kitten, which lasted through 1 issue. I then went on to form Xyster Fanzine which later became Agree To Disagree Magazine which lasted about 3 years and 4 issues. Andy Gronberg, the Editor is still going to put it out however, but I've decided to go back to the basics and start a whole other 'zine by myself, and that is where, Thought is a Crime Web-Zine comes in. I think the World Wide Web is one of the greatest places to hold a Magazine because the 'net is growing everyday and so is the user base.

I don't currently work right now unfortunately, and I dropped out of high school back in '94 because I just couldn't get myself to even try, because I couldn't understand anything in high school. I tried a few different programs after that, but they never worked out either. I ended up quitting my job as well back in the summer of '96 because I was getting real paranoid and embarasssed and what not from my serious sweating problem I got the fall earlier while I was in Riverview Mental Institution for a couple weeks. What happened was, they took me off my medication from prior to that and put me on like three different medications right away and that caused my body to heat up and cause a severe sweating problem which I still have till this day. My body is hot, but my body temperature is totally normal, I really don't understand it.

I did go to a program at Children's Hospital in Vancouver in early or late November in '94 and found out after doing some tests and things like that, I had the thought process of a person who would be 12 years old, I was 18 at the time. What I mean by thought process is that mentally, everything my brain had saved for my 18 years was equivalent to a 12 year old in grade seven. I'm still like this today. Even though, I'm almost 22. I really have never had a life, never really had friends, I have been a loner all my life, not by choice however but because that's how my mind is.

I guess, I'll tell you a bit about what's going on right now. I am currently suffering from Major Depression and have been for the last 15 or more years. I have also been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in early '95, I believe. Asperger's Syndrome is a mild form of Autism. If I ever meet you in person, I can bet you a million bucks, I probably will only say a couple words, but if I met you on the 'net, I'd probably say a few hundred atleast. It's weird. Autism, is weird that is. For me, it starts more in person than on the 'net, I guess because I'm not really communicating directly to someone and it doesn't cause my mind or my mouth to freeze up and lose words as much. I also believe I am suffering from Agoraphobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Paranoia. If you want to do research on what these mean, if you don't know already, I'm sure a 'net search engine would work perfectly for information. People think I'm just throwing these terms around to make it seem like I have more problems then I do, but I know I have these, it's unfortunate but I do. If someone doesn't believe me, that's their problem not mine. I'm not looking for sympathy, I just want people to understand and recognize. I have a hard time being a normal person and running a normal life like most people find really simple to do. I also have behavioural problems, I've had these since I was born, but they have gone away quite a bit, but are still there just not as bad.

I am also interested in left-wing politics and in the future I hope to become a political activist fighting to save the earth from humans destruction. In the future you may find alot of links or text on this webpage about politics, you should check them out and read them with an open mind. I find politics important, very important. If no one did, we wouldn't be here for much longer. I have to carry the torch with my caring heart and atleast educate myself and hopefully make a difference in this world. I've known this is what I am here for, ever since I was in pre-school where I had the exact same thoughts. Too bad, I didn't know about punk in pre-school! Imagine a punk toddler who's actually a real punk??? That would be wild!

I'll tell you about my interests, I really seem to be surfing the internet more than I should these days. Searching for sites that mean something to me and that are good. Alot of bad sites out there, and alot of good ones as well, unfortunately the bad sites outweigh the good. Of course, I guess my site could be considered bad as well since it's my first site and I just started it a few days ago. Never have I done a site before, I think I did an Ok job being computer illiterate and all. Don't you?? I also enjoy playing my Sony Playstation; games like Rampage: World Tour, Vigilante 8 and Gran Turismo, I really enjoy. I also hope to get more games in the future, I have 17 right now. I want to grow to have atleast 100 good quality games but that'll probably take years. I am also a kid at heart and I enjoy things like Lazer Tag, Bowling, Softball, Volleyball, Badminton, go-karting, Mini-Golf and stuff like that. I'm not good at any of these, but I find them enjoyable and that's what's most important, I hope. I can't remember what else I like right now. I like alot of things, I just don't do any of them because I have no one to do anything with, sigh. Oh well.

I've had three girllfriends in my lifetime, my last one was about a month ago, she was a cute asian gal from North Burnaby, it lasted 6 weeks and then she broke my heart and told me we should separate. Sigh, oh well. What can ya do? I am single right now, and not liking it at all. I always hope one day, I'll find a nice cute alternative or punk girl, "Maybe, one day." my lonely heart says. "Maybe, one day." I reply.

I also watch the braindead tube (TV) once in a while as well. Shows like Jerry Springer, Jenny Jones, Special Ops Force, Seven Days, Electric Playground, Hitlist, Vengence Unlimited, V.I.P, Jonovision, Generation Why?, Backstreet, Unsolved Mysteries, The Pretender, Once A Thief, King of the Hill, FX: The Series, The Sentinel, Viper, Nightman, Milennium, Nash Bridges, Nikita and sometimes South Park. I don't watch all these on a regular basis however, just once in a while.

I must add I also love eating at the Naam and Red Robins and also drinking Bubble Tea. I don't think I have a favorite anything, but if I was going to choose a color it might be Blue.

I guess, I'll tell you what bands I like as well. I'm really into the skate punk, ska-punk sound and I've recently started digging Ska. Bands I enjoy are; The Force, AFI, Against All Athority, Trunk, Jersey, D.B.S., Skapone, Lagwagon, Submission Hold, Detestation, 98 Mute, Swingin' Utters, Lunachicks and most likely any other punk band on any label in California. I also like 80's rock and some R&B, but very little.

I think, I forgot to tell you where I currently live on Mother Earth, I live in a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada called Surrey. It is approximately a 45 minute drive (I do not promote driving, but this was the easiest term to use.) from Vancouver. I guess, that's it.

I think I'm going to end it here, I might add more in the future though. I don't really know what else to say, even though I know there is alot to say. I'm having one of those brain dead moments like I always do. I hope you like the site, and I hope it grows in the future to become a really good one where punks and people of all ages like to go when they are seeking information of one sort of another. I know that's going to be hard to make a unique site, but I'll try my best, I promise.

Keep in touch everyone, I hope you have a good enjoyable stay. And, if you have any questions about what I have spoken or would like to discuss anything, please feel free to e-mail me, my mind is always open up for some educated talk.
